Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The in-built drag & drop functionality will enable you to effortlessly move files between your computer and the web server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your computer and then drag it over to your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop computer. On top of that, you can download files and even folders to your disk drive by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager GUI, you can create a brand new file or folder with only one click. All action buttons are handily placed above the file/folder list and you can edit your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, see the contents of a file or update its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager user interface, you will be able to zip and uncompress all types of files. It works astonishingly fast - just select the files you wish to make a zipped archive of and click the Compress button. You can even select the archive file type (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager, you actually do not need any third-party pieces of software in order to update your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to see the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact appear on your site. Besides, you will find an array of in-built file editors, which will grant you full authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are intended for more experienced users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
